Pupil premium
Pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. Each school determines independently how the Pupil Premium is spent, since they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made within the school for these pupils.
